Watch Video of the Yabatech Female Hostel Burning.

Earlier today, we got a call from a friend of ours, saying the female hostel of Yaba College of Technology, fondly called Yabatech, is on fire.

The friend said at around 4.45am this morning, the fire started.

We also learnt from an anomynous source that the fire began due to the faulty electrical cables in the hostel. 

The source said and i quote "Dere was no Nepal lit dis Mawnin so the generator was put on so due to d way d wires in Dat hostel was fixed, d generator lit was too heavy for it so d wire disjoint and Dat was all. Even my room bulb got burnt due to d lit" 

The source mentioned that a pregnant woman lost her baby due to overstepping of the female student, running to save themselves.

So many are in the school's clinic. Student credentials, foodstuff, and all other vital things are gone.
